Listening to the Unheard
Over the past three or four years, I have really done just one thing:
I listened to the voice within.
Many of the choices I made were guided by a sense of resonance with certain ideas and experiences.
Not because they were easy, but because they felt true.
In The Book of Five Rings, Miyamoto Musashi wrote about
perceiving what cannot be seen.
I prefer to think of it slightly differently:
listening to what cannot be heard.
That silent voice is the resonance within.
Looking back, I realize that these small moments of resonance gradually led me to where I am today.
Sometimes the real direction in life is not determined by external expectations,
but by a voice that only we can hear.
