The Joy of Progress

I’ve gradually realized something about happiness.

Buying expensive things doesn’t really bring lasting satisfaction.

For me now, the only thing that truly brings fulfillment is learning.

Once I became accustomed to the discomfort and frustration that come with learning something difficult, I started to recognize them as signals of growth rather than obstacles.

The struggle is no longer something I try to avoid.

Instead, it has become something that accompanies progress.

Seeing myself improve—even slowly—brings a deeper kind of satisfaction than any material purchase ever could.

In a way, learning itself has become my most reliable source of happiness.

Because progress is real, and it comes from within rather than from external things.
