Attention, the Real Currency of Growth
Attention, the Real Currency of Growth I have always believed that attention is even scarcer than time. Time is certainly precious. Once it passes, it never comes back. But if a person wants to achieve true compound growth, time alone is not enough — it also requires focused attention. Attention acts like a directional instrument for our energy. Only when we direct our attention toward what truly matters can the compounding effect of growth begin to take place. If a person’s attention is constantly scattered — by FOMO, anxiety, or internal distractions — their energy keeps dissipating. Time may continue to pass, but they remain standing still rather than truly growing. In the end, the truly scarce resource is not just time, but the ability to consistently direct one’s attention toward what truly matters. #DrJackYeh
