Independence Begins with Questioning

I have come to believe that true independent thinking is inseparable from critical thinking.

I have never seen a truly independent thinker who does not question or challenge.

Because the moment we stop questioning,

we are simply operating within frameworks given by others.

Growth often begins at the very point

where we start to question what has long been accepted as cultural expectations.

Without questioning, there is no independence.

Without critical thinking, there is no true self.

我一直認為，真正的獨立思考，必然伴隨著批判性思維。

我從未見過一個真正的獨立思考者，完全不質疑、不批判。

因為當一個人不再質疑，他其實只是延續他人給定的框架。

而所謂的成長，往往正是從這一刻開始——

當你開始質疑那些被視為理所當然的文化期待。

沒有批判，就沒有獨立。

沒有質疑，就沒有真正的自我。
