The Sustainable Order of Responsibility

In many East Asian cultures,
people are often taught to put the group and work first.

But there is a fundamental contradiction in this idea.

If a person continuously exhausts himself,
he will eventually lose the ability
to take care of himself,
his family,
and even his work.

Once a person collapses,
everything is over.

Therefore, placing the group and work above all else
is ultimately unsustainable.

The sustainable order is simple:

self first,
family second,
work third.

Only when this order is respected
can responsibility truly last.

在許多東亞文化中,

人們常被教育要把群體與工作放在第一位。

但這裡存在一個根本的矛盾。

如果一個人長期過度透支自己,

最終他既無法照顧自己,

也無法照顧家人,

甚至連工作也無法持續承擔。

當一個人先被耗盡,

一切就結束了。

因此,把群體與工作放在第一位,

其實是一種不可持續的文化。

真正可持續的順序應該是:

先對自己負責,

再對家人負責,

最後才是工作。

只有當這個順序是正確的,

責任才能長久。
