True Freedom Begins with Awareness of Conditioning
I have long believed that true freedom is not simply the ability to do whatever we want.
True freedom is the ability to no longer be controlled by our behavioral and psychological conditioning.
Most people live under the influence of unconscious patterns.
Our behaviors,
emotional reactions,
thoughts,
decisions,
and even our identities
are often driven by deeply rooted habits and conditioning.
This is why I believe many people misunderstand the idea of free will.
As long as a person remains controlled by unconscious conditioning,
they are not truly free.
They are simply repeating.
Repeating the same thought patterns,
the same emotional loops,
the same reactions,
and the same behaviors over and over again.
And these patterns rarely originate from nowhere.
They are usually formed through:
• family
• parents
• society
• education
• relationships
• environment
Over time,
these patterns become so deeply embedded
that we mistake them for ourselves.
But often,
they are not the true self.
They are conditioning.
This is why I believe true freedom begins with awareness.
Because only through direct observation do we begin to realize:
many thoughts are not truly ours,
many reactions are not conscious choices,
and many behaviors are simply inertia expressing itself.
Without awareness,
our conditioning eventually becomes our destiny.
This is also why I believe people do not truly need fortune telling.
If you carefully observe a person’s behavioral patterns,
thought habits,
and emotional tendencies,
you can often already see the direction of their future.
Real control over destiny does not begin with prediction.
It begins with awareness.
Because awareness is the first step toward freedom from unconscious inertia.
And perhaps the most important step of all.
真正的自由,始於對慣性的覺察
我一直認為,
真正的自由,
並不是「想做什麼就做什麼」。
真正的自由,
是不再被自己的行為慣性與思想慣性所控制。
因為大多數人的人生,
其實都是被無意識的慣性所推動。
我們每天的行為、
情緒、
反應、
選擇,
甚至連思想本身,
很多時候都只是某種慣性的延續。
所以很多人認為,
人擁有自由意志。
但根據我的觀察,
只要一個人仍然被自己的慣性所掌控,
他其實並沒有真正的自由。
因為他只是一直在重複。
重複相同的思考方式、
重複相同的情緒模式、
重複相同的行為迴圈。
而這些慣性,
往往不是憑空出現的。
它們通常來自於:
- 家庭
- 父母
- 社會
- 教育
- 成長環境
- 人際關係
這些東西長期塑造了我們,
最後變成了我們「以為是自己」的東西。
但很多時候,
那並不是真正的自己。
那只是長期被環境塑造出來的心理慣性與制約。
所以我越來越認為:
人的真正自由,
其實始於覺察。
因為只有當我們開始觀察自己,
我們才會開始發現:
原來很多思想,
並不是「我」真正的選擇。
很多反應,
也不是自由的反應。
而只是慣性的反應。
而如果一個人沒有覺察,
那麼他的行為慣性與思想慣性,
最終就會形成他的命運。
所以我一直認為:
人其實不需要算命。
因為一個人的命運,
往往只要觀察他的:
- 行為模式
- 思想慣性
- 情緒反應
大致上就已經能夠看出來了。
所以真正掌握命運的方法,
不是預測未來。
而是開始覺察自己。
因為覺察,
是擺脫慣性控制的第一步。
也是最重要的一步。
