What You Own, Owns a Part of You
Every object we own quietly takes a share of our attention.
It stays with us, not just physically, but mentally—
occupying a small space in our awareness.
That’s why I no longer seek to own more things.
I choose carefully, and I let them stay longer.
Because over time,
they are no longer just objects—
they become fragments of my life.
And when the time comes to let them go,
it feels less like replacing something,
and more like saying goodbye to a companion.
