From the Pond to the Ocean
It is almost impossible for a person to live without labels.
Our names are labels.
Our professions are labels.
Even our culture and nationality are labels.
So the real question is not whether labels exist,
but how large they are.
Some people choose to define themselves within a small pond—
a profession, an organization, or a single identity.
But for me, I would rather swim in the ocean.
The ocean also has boundaries,
yet it is vast enough for the mind to move freely.
If I must carry a label,
then I would rather choose one that is as wide as the sea.
